Your questions

What we get asked every week

What is the fastest way to move to Mauritius?

The Premium Visa: the application is made online, it is free and lets you live in Mauritius for up to a year while working remotely. Many of our clients start this way, then switch to a long-term permit once their project has matured.

Does the residence permit cover my family?

Yes: your spouse and dependent children are included, whether the permit comes from a property purchase of USD 375,000 or more, an Occupation Permit or retiree status.

How long does the process take?

From a few weeks to two or three months depending on the chosen route, applications being processed by the Economic Development Board (EDB). A complete file from day one makes all the difference: that is our job.

Can I work with a permit obtained through a property purchase?

Yes: the residence permit obtained through an eligible property purchase (at least USD 375,000 in an approved scheme) also gives you the right to work and invest in Mauritius, with no additional permit. It is one of the great advantages of this route compared with other destinations.

What happens to my permit if I sell my property?

The permit linked to the property purchase remains valid as long as you own the property. If you sell, it ends, unless you buy another eligible property or switch to another route (retiree, entrepreneur, or permanent residence after 3 years of residency).
